I’m Max Lopoukhine, a Rochester-based photographer focused on portraiture and visual storytelling. My work explores people, identity, and environment through a blend of cinematic lighting, authentic moments, and strong visual narratives.
My experience ranges from conceptual productions and performance photography to athletic portraiture, documentary work, and commercial assignments. I’ve photographed football portraits at Highmark Stadium, created athlete portrait series across multiple sports, documented local skate communities, and led the portrait team for Special Olympics New York.
My work has been exhibited internationally in Athens, Melbourne, and Tirana, selected for the RIT SPAS Honors Show in both 2025 and 2026, and recognized as a Top 20 Finalist for The People’s Artist. I’ve also worked with organizations including the Association of Professional Art Advisors, Special Olympics New York, and 3D Upstate Lacrosse.
