I’m Max Lopoukhine, a photographer based in Rochester, New York, and a 2026 graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I studied Advertising Photography. My work focuses on people across various environments. I’m interested in how lighting, color, and movement can shift the way a person is seen, from highly controlled setups to more natural, observational moments. Some images are built with intention and precision, while others rely on timing and presence. Moving between those approaches allows me to create work that feels both constructed and real, depending on what the subject calls for.
